Marie is originally from Anderson, SC and has lived in Pirmasens, Germany, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and South Florida before moving to Tennessee.
In addition to working at HTLC, Marie is a clinical mental health therapist with Ballad Health Medical Associates Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Services. She has studied social work and healthcare administration at East Tennessee State University and Milligan College and has a background in business and banking. Marie has two master's degrees, one in Clinical Mental Health, and a second in Addiction Counseling.
