Annual Craft Show and Bake Sale to support Oasis of Kingsport

We would love to have you come and volunteer in any of our many outreach programs!

Bible Studies at Holy Trinity are based on current and relevant life challenges in this rapidly changing world.  How can you be your authentic self, follow God’s calling to serve others with resources, confidence and compassion?  Our study leaders prayerfully consider the topics and materials to help answer these questions.  Together we grow spiritually stronger.

Join us.

Everyone is welcome!

VISION STATEMENT

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is and will grow as an engaging and compassionate Lutheran worshipping community, grounded in the Word, where all are welcome to experience the grace and love of Christ through prayer, service and fellowship.

MISSION STATEMENT

Following Christ and our Vision, we promise to prayerfully live our faith in word and deed.  We commit ourselves and our gifts to God’s work of building, blessing and bringing in serving God’s people.  We challenge ourselves to focus on the needs of others, service to all and sharing God’s grace. When we do these things, we are Helping Transform Lives in Christ.

Announcements

  • CareNotes

CARENOTES –Take one and take heart. Give one and give hope.

You will notice a new rack in the Gathering Room filled with pamphlets. These pamphlets each speak to life issues that we all face. They are not superficial but have thought- provoking statements that can help us think about and deal with these issues.

    • For example, the pamphlet on aging speaks of the stages of life in an interesting way.
    • For the young, the purpose is growth, and the gift is possibility-the young give us hope.
    • For the middle-aged, the purpose of life lies in generativity and the gift is responsibility-the middle-aged give us direction.
    • The older generation looks beyond the stages of public action for experience and the gift of reflection. “What’s it all been about?”

Please take a moment to peruse the many different subjects these pamphlets tackle and take some to read and maybe share with others.
